NYC: Franklin Furnace, 1982
43 x 28cm, black and red on cream poster/announcement with a b/w image of the artist sitting in a snowy urban environment cooking food. The very scarce documentation of the artist’s famous one year long performance where he disavowed entering any building. The red rubber stamped overprint indicates that this was one of four chances (one each season) for members of the public to meet the artist and that the meeting would take place under the Brooklyn Bridge. The poster was the third (of four) issued during the event. A mailed copy which has been folded several times (as issued) and has browned due to the cheap paper employed but is overall very good. A scarce item.
