9.7 x 12.2 x 3.5cm two part wooden box with two metal hinges and a metal clasp. The label on the front of the box reads: “VIVE LA MARRIAGE” and another label inside the top of the box continues “A TROIS” and there is a pornographic b/w original pornographic photograph of an erect man with two women. The label is signed by Filliou.

The Optimistic Boxes were originally Xmas gifts from the artist. The edition size is not known but it was not huge.

As ever the glue on the two labels is discoloured but else this is VG+. Scarce.
