OPTIMISTIC BOX NR 4 AND 5. 1981.

£1,250.00

Remscheid: Vice-Versand, 1981

11 x 16 x 9cm, ceramic “piggy bank” with plastic plug and two labels, one on each side. On one side the text reads: “.ONE THING I LEARNT SINCE I WAS BORN” and “THAT I MUST DIE SINCE I WAS BORN” . A depressing nihilist vision and also a comment on animal farming. Initialled on the second label.

he Optimistic Boxes were originally Xmas gifts from the artist. The edition size is not known but it was not huge.

The labels as ever are not glued down well and there is edge damage else VG+. Scarce.
