Paris: Ceysson, n.d. (2018)
31.5 x 24cm, 130pp plus card covers. Monograph and exhibition catalogue dedicated to the early work of Orlan prior to her interest in body art. There are essays in French by Elii Hill and Lea Chauvel-Levy and then large numbers of plates of collage-paintings and geometric paintings which are very good and an ignored part of the artist’s work.
This book has a lengthy and large dedication in black felt tipped ink on the first title page that reads:
‘Pour Robert Paterson “nous alors l’ART pour ne pas mourier de la Verite” and dated Lundi 20 Seprembre Pairs 2000000021’ (sic). VG+.
