POEME ECLATE. UNIQUE SMALL WORK 1 JANUARY 1958.

Found paper fire cracker (5 x 1.5cm diameter) with applied text in the form of paper letters to spell out the words “POEME ECLATE” and a date stamp “Paris, le  January 1958” cut from a larger sheet. An unique work which if used would be an appropriate sound poem for the new year. Provenance – indirectly from Camile Bryen, Galerie Greaphes, Paris and Here Lafitte Paris, Archives Station Paris.

Signed in blue by Dufrene on the side. In VG+ condition.
