London: Roundhouse, 1971
22.5 x 16cm, 16pp. The playbill (with extensive photographs and text relating to the play) for the first British performance of Warhol’s play based on tape-recorded conversations between Brigid Berlin and Andy during which Brigid would play for Andy tapes she had made of phone conversations between herself and her mother. Twenty-three b/w photographs taken by Lee Black Child, the play also featured Jayne County as “Vulva” and Cherry Vanilla as “Amanda Pork” whereas Anthony Zenatta played B. Marlowe who is a thinly disguised Warhol. Fascinating reading with actors biographies and several double page images of the cast. Very good condition. Very scarce.
