One of only 500 copies, the book is a parody of an exhibition catalogue Kustschaffen in Deutschland from 1949 which was the first showing of German contemporary art under the auspices of the occupation government — an exhibition which offered perhaps the first public view of artwork since the infamous “Entartete Kunst” exhibit mounted by the Nazis.
