Treviso: Museo di Santa Caterina, 2008
27 x 21.5cm, 62pp. Hard boards with foil stamped title. Full colour illustrations throughout (one per page) of the construction and installation of Ono’s all white chess piece and board created out of Italian marble (a work which has had various incarnations over the years and is a metaphor for peace – after all the conflict inherent in chess cannot really continue once one has forgotten which piece is owned by which player). A short essay in English by Enrico Pedrini but otherwise minimal text. To the best of our knowledge this book which is numbered in hand from a total edition of 500 copies was not commercially available or at least not widely circlated. Fine.
