STEIRISCHER HERBST 97 WITH KIPPENBURGER COVER. 1997. NOT IN THE CATALOGUE RAISONNE

15.5 x 9.5cm, 24pp plus card covers with a wrap around commissioned photograph by Kippenberger of a large end on the back of a small lorry. First edition of this programme / catalogue for the festival of modern art where Jorg Schlick had arranged for Kippenberger to be commissioned to design the publicity materials – MK died suddenly in advance but his photographs were used for the covers and images of the various materials. There is a short text by the director Christine Frisinghelli that pays homage to Kippenberger at the end and explains his role. Fine – this item really should be the last entry in the Koch catalogue raisonne of Kippenberger books but is for some reason missed out. FIne and quite rare (In part because it is relatively unknown).
