First edition (later republished in the States) of Calle’s magnificient artist’s book telling the tale of how the artist followed strangers in the street until meeting a man who so fascinated her that she followed him impulsively to Venice. This copy has a short, signed dedication by the artist in ink on the end papers. Slight yellowing to edges of some pages otherwise near fine. This book is sometimes identified as Calle’s first artist’s book but it in fact follows a book called Tito self-published a few years before. Nonetheless very rare especially signed.
