36 x 24.5cm, single sheet of cartridge paper which has had a brownstain added to it and the title of the work overwritten “Tantopecanta” by Chiari. At the bottom of the work the artist has signed very clearly in felt tipped ink. The title has two meanings – “just to sing” ( after a famous 1970s Roman dialect song written by Ettore Petrolini and Alberto Simeoni,) and “residue”. Unique work in a series of similar late paintings. VG+.
