15 x 21cm vintage silver gelatin print displaying the butcher leading the cow to slaughter as part of TV-OCHSEN – a happening for tv that was hugely controversial as the animal was killed for the event. Vostell wishing to show the hypocrisy of meat-eaters who do not want to see the death of the animals they eat. There is a text on back in red ink by Vostell which reads “(Police/homme a gauche) en quittent la vache de la Kunsthalle 5 . 11. 70 Koln”. and the photographer’s rubber stamp impression – Bernd Kollmann.
