C. 30, 8cm dia. starch oblates with printed icon and in original transparent bag. The artist references the Catholic tradition of eating a host and it supposedly transforming into Jesus’s body. This Oblate is part of the “cannibalistic gesture” and show madonna with a baby girl as an attempt to undermine the patriarchy. Unopened and in VG++ condition.
