WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO. 1968. ONE OF 500 COPIES.

£600.00

London: Cape Golliard Press, 1968
30,3 x 25, 2 cm, 8pp plus transparent paper wrappers. Four of the sheets with silkscreened titles and images designed by Paul Vaughan. Bound in white plastic binder. Illustrations inside include the “Fuller dymaxion projection sky-ocean world map” as well as an undersea island, a motor vehicle and a building construction; there is also a short text by Fuller explaining that he wishes to “reform the environment rather than reform man” – the latter which he feels is impossible. This is one of a limited edition of 500 copies. The transparent overlays here have been slightly bent and therefore there are some soft diagonal creases and there is some staining to the rear transparent sheet along the top and into the middle of the otherwise blank sheet but else is internally VG+. This is a very scarce Buckminster Fuller title however but priced to reflect this damage.
