Exhibition catalogue for Hamilton’s suite of drawings illustrating James Joyce, raising to heroic status the IRA hunger strikers and other scenes of daily Dublin and Irish life. B/w reproductions throughout and lengthy texts by Hamilton who after the mid 80s began to chronicle the free South and the struggle for Irish unity as a significant part of his output.
