Additionally there are seven 30 x 22cm, 1pp sheets of adhesive stickers with one work by each of the participating artists. The exhibition catalogue of a exhibition curated by Hans Ulrich Obrist and Christian Boltanski at the Monnaie de Paris where all of the works were available for the visitors to take home (at least in part). Boltanski's contribution was a dispersion of second hand clothing in printed paper bags.
Other artists included James Lee Byars, Gilbert & George, Jeremy Deller, Hans-Peter Feldmann, Douglas Gordon, Carsten Holler, Jonathan Horowitz, Gustav Metzger, Philippe Parreno, Yoko Ono and others.
The catalogue also acted as a sticker album - the colour stickers on the sheets being expected to be peeled off and places in the correct space in the book. This copy retains all of the stickers on the original sheets and is VG+.

Monk has here coloured-in the vast majority of the pages of the drawings using crayon and pencil as well as blue biro pen and, moreover, has added to the drawings in places. The book is signed on the front cover. Attached to the very front cover is a post-it note from Monk which states in his own handwriting "JONATHAN MONK ON RICHARD PRINCE FOR RICHARD HAMILTON ON MARCEL DUCHAMP" - a note that is relevant as the book was an agreed swap between Paul Robertson and Jonathan Monk in return for a work by Richard Hamilton who had adapted an appropriated photograph of Marcel Duchamp and republished it as an editioned poster-print with added embellishments.
This is an unique artist's book by the neo-conceptualist who particularly admires Richard Prince. Fine condition.

Each card was different but Monk has a self-portrait made up as Gene Simmons from Kiss in full make-up. A very early work by the artist. One additional card with background to the project. The cards are all in VG+ condition but the printed folder is a bit worn and aged. Rare.
