(NY): nd, (late 1970s)
Three 4 x 5″ b/w photographic prints by an unknown photographer, which depict the industrial pioneer performing alone on a black stage, bare-chested and wearing boots and large gloves, facing his floodlit shadow on a white wall, and perhaps banging objects against a piece of sheet metal. Undated, but probably from the late 1970’s.
Z’ev was one of a number of musicians who created the music that we now regard as “industrial” although it comes from Music Concrete and other avant grade experiments in noise. The instruments Z’ev played were usually homemade and would cause injury to his hands as he played them as many had sharp edges. All fine.
PRICE IS FOR ALL THREE PHOTOGRAPHS AS A GROUP
