Antwerp: Guy Schraenen Éditeur, 1973

38 x 38cm (large format) outer folder with four inserts each 38 x 38cm with applied collage (a folded paper airplane by Baj) in such a way that each consecutive plane appears to be flying over the page. Opposite each collage is a printed concrete text by Heidsieck. Paper is heavy card. One the first inner page of the cover is a paper envelope containing a 7 inch single (45rpm) of the title sound poem Portrait-Petales on one side.

This is one of 30 special edition copies which is signed and numbered by both Heidsieck and Baj on a colophon sheet aside from the normal edition of 120 copies without the collages.

This copy has some general light marking to the outside white folder and one small mark on the half-title page else VG+. The spine is slightly folded but that is typical of the entire edition. Very scarce.

29 x 37cm, original paper on cartridge paper collage with a drawn 3-d cube over which the artist has roughly torn shapes to fill the surfaces from blue and black papers and added the word "in" taken from a publication.

A unique work by the visual poet who was part of the “Tam Tam” grouping that also included Adriano Spatola and Giulia Niccolai.

The work has previously been framed and there are handling creases along the top that can be seen from the front, on the blank reverse there are surface tears from the previous gluing of the work but these are not apparent from the front.

9 x 14cm, commercial French photo-postcard showing a street scene upon which Cobbing has glued torn circles of black paper on the tree and then in turn painted numbers in white over each piece. Two other small trees have the numbers 1 painted over them. The whole card is signed and dated bottom left also in thick white paint. The date is hard to make out but possibly "66".

The entire card has been glued onto a black card at some point which has been partially removed to reveal part of a message in ink beneath - the message cannot be read but the stamp and frank can be seen if hard to read.

The card is unique and was probably made at a time when Cobbing was contributing to Henri Chopin's OU and was close to Francois Dufrene. It would be helpful if the rest of the black backing card could be removed to allow the writing and the address to be seen in full.

The card came indirectly from the collection of Francois Norguet.

15 x 21cm, 2pp. Announcement card for a special edition released by Armleder which could be played as a family game and asking for contributions for an exchange event where boxes were swapped by participants. The front of the card has a reproduced photo-collage by Armleder but a strip of paper and a torn corner of a small picture has been tipped on by the artist to create a unique collage.

The card sadly has some brown marks from grease and glue on the front and back but it is a scarce work by the artist. Else VG=.

Maple City: s.p. (Jerry Gretzinger), 2008
25.5 x 20.5cm, original painting and collage on thin card. A unique section from "Jerry' map" a fictional huge map which consists of over 3,600 individual eight by ten inch panels. created in acrylic, marker, coloured pencil, ink, collage, and inkjet prints on heavy paper. Began in 1963 as a hobby the work is now extensive having been exhibited in many museums (including in Edinburgh in a show curated by Paul Robertson) and is a remarkable undertaking.
The map changes regularly according to "rules" set by Gretzinger who uses a home made pack of cards to randomly decide which areas of the map become "developed" ie new drawings are made and replace the original panels much as if the city has grown or parts of the map faced natural disasters.
This is one such "retired panel" showing an area of countryside on the edge of a city from the map which is designated "S4/W17" on the back and it thus from the South-West area of the larger map. Unique and VG+.

30 x 21cm, b/w photographic portrait of the artist's wife with exposed breasts. Over the image Knizak has painted in thick black oil paint some hair and added a red painted cork (which comes out of the photo frame in three dimensions) as a “hat”. Hand titled and signed and dated in ink on the left - this is an unique photographic + collage work by the artist. Glued into original artist chosen matt - 38 x 30cm. Fine.
