Provo was the primary journal of the anarchist Provos movement in Amsterdam. Contributors include Roel van Duyn, Rob Stolk, Hans Tuyman, Luud Schimmelpenninck, Duco van Weerlee, Constant Nieuwenhuys and Hans Korteweg.

Provo was an avant-garde political movement that used direct action, such as pranks and happenings, as a critique of contemporary consumer culture. It plays an important part in the history of cultural and political revolution in 1960s Holland. Many of the magazine issues were confiscated by the Dutch police.

All have dog ears and former handling creases but over all this is in VG shape as a collection given the ephemeral nature of the publication. Certain numbers are very scarce indeed.
