DISHONOURABLE CONDUCT OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE I.L.P.. 1894.

£95.00

Leicester: Leicester Anarchist-Communist Group, 1894
26 x 19cm, 2pp. Black on white letterpress. A public open letter from the Leicester Anarchist-Communist Group addressing the Leicester branch of the Independent Labour Party and demanding to know why their members were not allowed to speak at a series of public meetings organised by the I.L.P. The leaflet condemns the I.L.P. leaders as ‘new tyrants’. The ILP was of course to help form the Labour Party in the UK and was already becoming a little state-ist in its way of organising – the interaction/debate between the red and black organisations was already becoming of little benefit to the stronger socialist grouping and thus there was a tendency to deliberately ignore the anarchist organisations even at this time. Some foxing but overall very good.
