EIGHT SYMPHONY. 2001. TEST PRESSING. UNPLAYED.

£495.00

Henderson: Cortical Foundation, 2001
Two 33 rpm LP records in original white inner sleeves and outer white cardboard unprinted sleeves with rubber stamp impression and hand-written text. The records both have inner circle lables with rubber stamp impressions of the date (July 6 2001) and matrix number – these are the test pressing for Nitsch’s found part Eighth Symphony for Choir, Orchestra And Noise Orchestra and released in a very small number by the Cortical Foundation. There is a slight brown stain bottom left on the outer and inner sleeve of one of the records else VG and the LPs themselves have been unplayed. Rare – probably fewer than 5 copies given they were made for the approval of the artist before the larger run of production.
