Nordrhein-Westfalen: Mobiles Museum Vostell, n.d. (1981)

30 x 21cm, 20pp (self cover) plus two 30 x 21cm, 2pp inserts – the catalogue and artist’s book issued by Vostell to visitors to his “mobile museum”, seven carriages pulled by a train engine that stopped in numerous locations in Gemany. Each carriage had a different installation by the artist and visitors could see a field of lettuce slowly rotting, dead dogs with knives in their back (simulated) and other scenes as a well as films in the Videothek. The brochure shows Vostell’s original instruction drawings for each carriage and the inserts contain a biography and past exhibition details.  All VG+.
