27 x 21cm, 6pp exhibition catalogue – with a text by Allain Jouffrey. 6 b/w illustrations of works with 1 large b/w photograph of the artist posing supposedly “cutting” a canvas. The photograph interestingly was not quite authentic – Fontana refused access to his working practices and only re-created his intense severing of the canvas for the occasion, the artist’s usual pulling apart of the canvas (a quasi-sexual act) and the strengthening of the cut from behind by the use of other materials were not recorded. Very good. Scarce.
