JEAN-LUC GODARD’S WEEK-END. 1968.

£195.00

London: ICA, 1968
42 x 59cm, three colour (yellow, purple and black) silkscreen poster for the first ever showing of Godard’s film that captured the revolutionary spirit that led to the May 1968 student uprisings in France, Weekend was first screened at the ICA just two month after Paris burned. The film follows an unlucky married couple who set out in their car for a weekend trip to the countryside that turns into a nightmare of traffic jams, revolution and cannibalism. Fine. Rare vintage poster that is an attractive design.
