JOHN CAGE AND MERCE CUNNINGHAM WATCH PAPER PLANES AT A FLUXUS EVENT AT CARNEGIE HALL. 1965. LATER PRINT.

£65.00

N.p.: n.p., n.d.

21 x 30cm, black and white silver gelatine photograph from original negative showing composer John Cage and the dancer and choreographer Merce Cunningham at a Fluxus event in the Carnegie Hall in 1965 where George Maciunas had just thrown a number of paper airplanes into the air from the balcony (the paper planes were made from Fluxus leaflets).

This image was originally taken by Fred McDarrah and his estate retains copyright on the image so this is sold for personal use and not for reproduction. This is in very good condition and a crisp modern print (post 1990s we suspect) from original negative. If this was a vintage print we would charge much more.
