LE BOULEVERSEMENT DE L’ARCHITECTURE. 1980. ONE OF ONLY 200 COPIES.

£120.00

Paris: Sabatier/Satie, 1980
29.5 x 21cm, 62pp plus silver metallic printed covers. the reprint (from 1966) of Isou’s architectural theories. The conceptual underpinnings of lettrisme allowed the application of its principles to be applied to all areas of life – for example , other theses by Isou were published on sexual activity (for which he was jailed), graphic art, photography, dance and even mime (“Q” – it’s a “q: isn’t it?”) This ‘reprint’ of the previously privately circulated document from the 60s applies lettriste dogma to architecture. With a foreword by Roland Sabatier, this is one of only 200 copies. Very good.
