13 x 19,5 cm, 14pp plus card covers. Artist’s book which investigates the flora and fauna around a lake in Sweden (Ringsjön). The book consists of 7 b/w images of the lake, insects and vegetation with legends as to location.
This is one of 20 deluxe copies (aside from another 230 numbered copies) which has an original 9 x 12.4cm, b/w silver gelatine photographic print (which has been annotated in red felt pen as 1 m square) showing a measured out 1m square where Gette investigated what might be found within the boundary of the area.  
The book is signed and numbered 17 in pencil by Gette on the colophon page. Clearly rare. VG+.
