MOMENTO MORI. UNIQUE WORK. 1980. SIGNED.

Three colour xeroxes, all 30 x 21cm, each titled in pen and signed by Blume and numbered to indicate order. This was one of a number of similar xerox works made for the Koln Hundertmarkt Galery. The images are of close up flowers (as found perhaps in a funeral) and two shadows of moving Christian crosses. Blume’s interest in the fakery of the paranormal and mediums (including psychokenesis) is reflected in these quasi-religious works. An extremely attractive trio of images, all bright and without fading even after 36 years.
