11 x 15.5cm semi-transparent printed envelope content of three 10.5 x 15cm, 2pp artist postcard and a 10.5 x 15cm, 1pp sheet of 3 adhesive cinderella stamps with a “Nul = O” design.
In 1966 the Nul Gruppe (Armando, Jan Hendrikse, Henk Peeters, Jan Schoonhoven) proposed a major installation Zero op Zee where works by the Dutch artists would be presented along with related artists from Europe, America, and Japan. The event would take place on the Pier of Scheveningen. It was never realised.
As part of an exhibition in Amsterdam in 2012, Henk Peeters created three photo-montages based on the original plans and also a small set of cinderella stamps.
The cards and the stamps were released as a limited edition, in an envelope.
The cards and stamps are in VG++ condition but the envelope has a closed tear of about 5cm on the back and other small flaws. Very scarce item.
