Newcastle: Baltic Museum, 2008
Sizes vary – approx 6 x 4cm, two-sided offset lithographically printed individual pieces of a jigsaw puzzle – each piece being only a small section of a much larger whole. Visitors to the exhibition were encouraged to take a piece – clearly with the metaphor in mind that only by a re-gathering of the original visitors later could the whole be remade (a common Ono strategy if one compares this with her earlier “Mend” works where she would break a cup and hand out the pieces to attendees). On the reverse of each piece is “Y.O.”. A fine example.  Please note price is for one individual piece of the puzzle . Each piece differs and the piece sent will be randomly selected from those we hold.
