30 x 24.8cm, 2pp offset photolithograph with a work by the surrealist which is the letter “R” created for the series “L’alfabeto di Bolaffiarte”. The work is the artist’s signature and is printed to allow parts of the image to be raised (to create “veins”). One of 5,000 numbered copies (on the reverse) which was also produced for Bolaffi’s magazine cover. This work was unsigned by Man Ray but noterised on his behalf to make the work “official”  with an embossed bling stamp of his signature while on the left is the blind stamp of the publisher, overleaf a short text has the stamped number.
