First edition of this artist’s book and exhibition catalogue displaying the artist’s intervention in Newhailes House near Edinburgh where highly patterned and geometric sculptural works were placed in a stately home setting. The photographs herein show the extreme contrast between the formal stuffiness of the classical draperies and furniture and the more crudely (deliberately so) harliquenesque works – it shouldn;t work but it does. A nice little book published in a run of 500 copies.
