75.5 x 18.5cm, 1pp long poster printed black and light blue – the 5th Annual New York Avant Garde Festival. “Chamber music, happenings, events, environments, poetry, kinetic light art, films, jazz, sculpture, lighting design, video tape art, dance, electronic music, 24 continuous hours, September 29-11, 30pm thru September 30, 11:30pm, rain or shine, Staten Island Ferry” (New York 1967). It was to take place on the John F. Kennedy ferry boat and Staten Island Ferry.

The list of artists consists of their reproduced signatures over a plan of the Ferry – the huge number of artists is too many to list but they included Nam June Paik, Yoko Ono, Carolee Schneemann, Christo, Emmett Williams, Ay-o, John Cage, Dick Higgins, Robert Filliou, Dieter Roth, and many many others. Folded for mailing and on the reverse there is a neat handwritten Library title and rubberstamp date impression near one fold. This is by far one of the more difficult of the posters from the annual event to find.
