Appropriated standard 33 rpm LP in original sleeve which has been deliberately broken by the Fluxus artist Chiari. The original record was Firenze Sogna… a compilation of Florentine music made in the 60s. The cover of the record is torn and over-written in pen and the broken vinyl has parts missing and has been deliberately scored on the record itself. Signed in the middle of the sleeve, this was reglued to a backing sheet in 2003 in order to be exhibited. Provenance: from the archive of the minimalist musician Paolo Coteni given to Jan Van Toorn in 2010. Coteni was a close friend of Chiari. Condition as might be expected from a destroyed record and sleeve. Unique.
