VOSTELL I AABENRAA (3-D EXHIBITION CATALOGUE / OBJECT MULTIPLE). 1978. SIGNED & DEDICATED BY VOSTELL.

31.5 x 18.5 x 11.5cm two part printed cardboard box (including lid) which opens out to display various photographs of several Vostell events and happenings including 3 Environments EdHR (1968), Autofieber (1973) and Radio-Fisch (1978) and two newer events.

The internal area of the box has glued and mounted stand up elements to resemble cinema screens.

There are some condition issues here – there are stains all over the outer box, the lid has two closed tears, there is a dent/hole on the side of the bottom part of the box and two brown stains down the bottom of the box – see photographs.

Additionally Vostell himself added a string loop to the top of the box so it could be hung on display and he has handwritten a dedication on the top of the box to “Catarina” in black in and signed the work.

This is a very scarce example of a fascinating and original exhibition catalogue (designed by Vostell) and is usually found in poor condition.
