>42 x 30cm, b/w xerox print - displaying a design by the Fluxus artist which is clearly inspired by the wonderful architecture of Koln cathedral. This poster was displayed during an exhibition at Galerie A in Amsterdam in 1986 and Hansen has signed and dated it in ink bottom right. The poster has been folded for storage but other than some waviness often found in large xerox prints it is in very good condition. Probably unique.

152 x 21cm, original fax which has been conjoined with glue by Corner in two places. The fax having been sent to L'Espace Cultural F.M. in Périgueux on the "birthday of art " - 17th January (as claimed by Robert Filliou) - thereafter Corner then painted over the sheets using a variety of ink colours to create a long abstract painting on paper.

The work is titled "FAX-O-GASME" and is signed, dated and has the title and background information also handwritten in blue ink on the upper part of the fax. The paper is mildly browned after 20 plus years but else this work is in VG+ condition.

A unique work by the Fluxus artist.

Genoa: Unimedia, 1984

Performance elements and relics. 63 original 10.7 x 8.9cm, original photographic portraits in the form of polaroids of visitors to an exhibition "Una mostra che non sciuperà la tua giornata" on April 8th 1994 along with 61 9.9 x 9.7cm, coloured (yellow, red, and blue) post-it sheets upon which (at Andersen's request) a visitor has written a question or a remark (usually in Italian). The order of which polaroid and which post-it note was randomised and the person's remarks were not always shown underneath their portrait.

There is an additional polaroid which shows the display of the work at the original museum.

The translation of the show's title is "A show that will not mess up your day". It was later exhibited in the FLUXUS AT 60 show at the Villa Croce in 2022.

There are holes for drawing pins at the top of every polaroid and post-it note as that was the method of hanging Andersen chose for display. Else VG+. Unique.

A collection of 14 small hand made cloth bags each with a number or letter silkscreened on them.

These are the performance relics from a 1993 show by Alison Knowles - at the opening of her exhibition "Corners" at Unimedia, Genoa, she gave visitors a bag each and asked them to add a picture from a newspaper cutting or a written phrase and then enquired what kind of bean the visitor preferred - at which point she added a bean to each bag.

These 14 bags were left over from the performance and are in various sizes, colours and are un-ironed.

Along side the bags are handwritten instructions by Knowles in Italian (she had copied the words from a translated text by the curator Catrina Gualco who supplied the letterheaded paper). Folded for storage.

Unique Fluxus performance relic. The photograph of Knowles shows her preparing one of the bags.

Amsterdam: Gallerie A, 1979

32 x 29cm red folder (ring binder) with xeroxed label content of 37 plastic pockets. The pockets contain many originals and later xeroxes of original texts, leaflets, booklets and cuttings assembled by Hansen during his last years in Amsterdam. Many of the texts, posters and leaflets are from the vintage period of Fluxus - 1963 - 1969 and include some rarities including a booklet from Artzien showing Al Hansen collecting cigarette butts in the red light district, an original handwritten letter to Ruhe in envelope, an original photograph of a collage by Jones, the original leaflet for 3rd Rail Environment at Judson Gallery from 1963, an original contact print of 5 images from a happening, an original colour photograph of a Jones holding a Dick Higgins mask over his face, a handwritten text by Hansen about a Herman Nitsch aktion from 1968 in New York, an original collage by Hansen using a beer mat and a pornographic playing card on a xerox image of one of his earlier happenings, a copy of his xero editioned print "A Celebration of Knowing George Brecht" which is signed and numbered 20 of 20 and dated 1971, a 1973 original small poster for "Art & the Environment" by "Prof Zanfagna", an original announcement card for Viking Dada with hardwritten address which is signed by Hansen, an original signed letter to Ruhe from the artist, an original photograph of the artist at an opening with an unidentified woman, a small original offset lithographic poster for Al Hansen 1979 exhibition, four original 9 x 13cm, b/w silver gelatine photographs of the artist in the street and at an installation and two xerox images of drawings by Hansen that the artist has overdrawn with ink in parts.

The folder is roman numbered from a small edition of 5 copies (this being number II). Complete as issued. This appears to be one of 5 artist proofs aside from the larger edition of 20 copies. The contents of each "Flux Flak Pak" varied enormously as did the quality of the original items in each - this admittedly is one of the lesser examples and is priced accordingly.

Moreover Ruhe's idea of putting the items in plastic folder files was a bad one - the plastic has reacted with some items - ink has transferred from the drawings and some xeroxes to the inner side of the plastic and the general design is more than a bit chaotic but then so was most Fluxus. This is still a desirable publication from Hansen and as noted with some unique elements.

Bonn: s.p. (Kaprow), 1985
A worn shoe with added plaster and gauze in a plexiglass box. One of a number of 15 different shoes used by Kaprow in a street happening - participants were asked to bring old shoes with them and give them to Kaprow who then swept the shoes through the streets of Bonn using a large brush. After this stress on the shoes, each was lovingly repaired by the artist using materials associated with medical healing.
Each shoe used in this edition was unique. Very good condition bearing in mind the original use of the object. Signed and numbered from the edition of 15.

Koln: Edition Hundertmark, n.d. (1975)
Unique installation work - in fact a prototype for an unrealised edition. Mixed media - a plastic xylophone block (tuned to tone 'e') mounted on a white plastic stand: overall size 26 x 5 x 9cm and engraved 'Made in Western Germany'; a drum stick, three-pages of an original score, a handwritten note from Andersen and a metal music stand.

The score consists of three pages - each 28 x 21cm - the first page outlines 'ad hoc instructions regarding the score for the frequency e' created as a unique typescript with handwritten additions with a mounted sheet of self-sticking letters (letraset). Page two is entitled 'ad hoc area of subsistence concerning the frequency e' and is a typescript with hand-painted black circles and mounted adhesive plastic numbers. Page three is titled 'ad hoc score for the frequency e', again a typescript with plastic adhesive numbers and letters and handwritten notes
The additional 26 x 21cm, 1pp handwritten note is in black marker and entitled 'Become a Member of Eric Andersen's Random Audience I frequency e' and signed "Eric".

The music stand is in metal and plastic and unfolds to 120cm high and is able to carry all three score parts. All are stored in a transparent plastic box, 30 x 27 x 6cm (with the exception of the music stand).

This was the prototype for a sound/performance installation work by Andersen which he planned to be issued by Armin Hundertmark in Koln during 1975 but was never realised.
All parts are in an excellent condition although the transparent box is slightly damaged and there is a very small coffee stain on one of the pages (oh well very Fluxus). Providence: Purchased directly from Armin Hunderrtmark.

Worn and formerly folded horizontally but thus unique - only 15 such texts were distributed at the exhibition.
