Drakabygget: Bauhaus Situationiste, 1962

24 x 17.8cm, 192pp plus card wrappers. A triple number of this artistic journal founded by Nash and Jorn (who were brothers) after the former was excluded from the International Situationists by Debord along with the SPUR grouping. The magazine was subtitled Tidskrift for konst mot atombomber, p var och politiker (“Magazine for art against atomic bombs, popes and politicians”).

The new organisation formed by Nash was called the “Bauhaus Situationists”. The journal was named after the Drakabygget farmhouse in Southern Sweden where Nash lived and turned into a commune.

This number has contributions by Al Hansen, Jean Sellem, Asger Jorn, Lis Zwick, Spur, Jorgen Nash, Arne Ruste, Terje Johanssen,  Hardy Strid, and others and is illustrated in b/w with new collages, photographs, drawings and found imagery.
