27 x 21cm, two sheets 2pp and 1pp respectfully. The second issue of the Lettrist International, published in February 1953, at thet time when the group had left Isou’s main grouping and had added a number of new adherents such as Sarah Abouaf, Serge Berna, P. J. Berlé, J.-L. Brau, Leibé Midou Dahou, Guy-Ernest Debord, Linda, Françoise Lejare, Jean-Michel Mension, Eliane Papaï, and Gil J. Wolman all of whom signed the manifesto published herein. The publications also has texts by Debord, Wolman, and Jean-Michel Mension, and press cuttings concerning the contentious “Chaplin affair”.
Both sheets have a red stamp of the Lettrist International . This publication is usually found as a single sheet but here we include the far rarer second sheet with an extract of the public response of the International Letteristes to Chaplain’s visit and their opposition to it and Isou’s support.
The first sheet is a little browned but the second is far lighter. Both are VG+. Very scarce especially as two sheets.
