Paris: Aux Escaliers de Lausanne, n.d.(1960)
14.3 x 19.2cm, 64pp. Original wrappers. First edition. One of Isou’s rarest books and one of the most important Letteriste theoretical works on art wherein Isou explains his theory of the “art infinitesimal” and “art supertemporel” – the latter a concept in which the participants become part of the artwork (prefiguring the first “Happenings” of 1962). The only previous writings by Isou on art were in two separate reviews (Ur nr 1, 1950 and Front de la Jeunesse, 1956). Very good condition with only minor flaws and uncut. Very rare.
