14.8 x 10cm, 2pp colour postcard with an image of a Welsh post box where the card was posted. One of a long series of similar cards sent from all over the world. This example is signed on the reverse by Monk but has not been posted from the mailbox. VG+.

26 x 17cm, unpaginated. Printed card covers. First edition of this artist’s book which displays a series of American cents (both front and back) one for each of the titular years. This is one of 250 numbered copies. Fine.

Karlesruhe: Meyer Riegger, 2014
21 x 15cm, unpaginated. Original wrappers. Artist's book which displays the same b/w photograph of a Vespa and several blank pages. An additional 21 x 15cm, 1pp sheet of adhesive stickers is also supplied and the owner of the book is instructed to use the stickers (in 12 different colours) to create "your own unique combination of lights" supposedly from the various lights on the scooter. The reference is, of course, Sol Lewitt's systematic work-throughs of combinations of colours in his artist's books but made more physical in a the form of a design classic. VG+.

15 x 10.5cm, 2pp announcement card for a group show including Michael Asher, Martin Creed, On Kawara, Andreas Slominski, Ian Wilson and Haegue Yang as well as Monk. Each card was hand-stamped with the title on the front by Monk in black ink - hence each was different from each other. VG+.

Firenze: Zona Editions, 2014 84 x 62cm, blue on red artist designed silkscreen poster (by Monk) with the various artists given patterned symbols to create a "code" for each. This is one of 100 limited edition print which was published on a number of different coloured papers (here pink/red). Each is signed in ink by Jonathan Monk and Maurizio Nannucci. VG+. ...

SIxtyy-two copies were published plus 10 A/Ps. Strangely the announcement card for the exhibition also took a handmade format but this is the official limited edition mailart. VG+.

Eight 29.7 x 21cm, b/w offset prints (with a 1pp 30 x 21cm, signed colophon sheet) each showing a detail of a larger image where a poster of Richard Hamilton is being held up by a woman but the details do not allow the full image to be discerned easily. There is a reference in the images to Hamilton's painting Toaster and his exhibition Products in 2003.
One of 40 signed and numbered examples aside from 7 artist's proofs. VG+.

Manchester: Cornerhouse, 2013
30 x 21cm, 60pp plus card covers. Artist's book and exhibition catalogue for a major installation at the Kunstraum Dornbirn which had previously been a factory - Monk returned it to that function and assembled over 100 bicycles using volunteers and himself which were later left around in the city to allow lucky finders to keep a basic bicycle. The catalogue notes Monk regards the bicycle as being a symbol of freedom given his own early experience of the vehicle being a means of allowing him to go long distances alone. Numerous b/w images of one cycle in close up and colour images of the space and installation. VG+.
