NYC: Coalition for the Homeless, 2020 31 x 31cm, two part yellow cardboard box with foam insert supporting a 16cm dia. artist designed porcelain plate by Weiner.  The charity edition fed 75 hungry homeless workers for each plate sold - and only 175 of each plate was produced. Weiner's text in red , yellow and blue is a conceptual art statement stressing our solidarity with each and every one of us. Mint. The floorplan is interesting in that Byars and Beuys were situated next to each other meaning their public performance together (where Byars wore a scarf to hide his face) was probably much easier to have facilitated. Mönchengladbach, Städtisches Museum Mönchengladbach, 1973. 20.9 x 17.3 x 2cm (approx) two part cardboard box (with printed text green on the llid) content of   a 60 x 42cm, 1pp green on white poster (folded as issued) and an artist's book entitled "A Primer": 14.5 x 10.5cm, unpaginated (c. 96pp) plus card covers containing short statements by Weiner in English and German.  Additionally there is a 20.5 x 17cm, 4pp sheet with a text in German by J. Cladders which is numbered from the total edition of 330 examples. All  contents  areVG+but the lid of the box (as usually found) has a tear in one corner (see photographs). Now scarce.

LA CÉDILLE QUI SOURIT. 1969 ONE OF 440 NUMBERED COPIES.

Mönchengladbach, Städtisches Museum Mönchengladbach, 1969. 16.5 x 20.6 x  2cm (approx) two part cardboard box (with sliding tray and printed label) content of  a smaller matchbox resembling the larger outer box and a number of 20 x 16cm, 1pp sheets  with a text by Johannes Cladders, a list of works by Filliou and Brecht from before their collaboration, a list of their works made during their stay in Villefranche and 'La Cédille qui sourit' (1965-1968) and some cards headed 'La Cédille qui sourit' and invitations to participate in the making of an anthology of jokes by returning postcards. This example is in VG+ condition with the box corners all untorn and the matchbox containing all four original metal hooks as issued. There is a stain on the front label on the title text. One of 440 numbered examples. Now very scarce especially in good + condition (all the Monchengladbach boxes tended to break easily as the cardboard was not usually supported internally when placed with other heavy books).
