Unoriginal Sins is an established venture trading in the field of the contemporary and modern avant garde movements from 1900 to the present day. We have a vast inventory of books, documents, artworks, ephemera, object multiples, LPs and other digital media as well as representing major collections from significant artists.

We trade almost entirely online - we purchase new material all the time and offer regular clients email lists (which you can sign up to here) of new arrivals. Soon after the distribution of those lists, new items are placed online so it is worth returning regularly to this site to see what new things are for sale.

It may be possible to visit in person and see our inventory but that is by appointment only - please email us. We can supply references for new clients should that be required.

We are always looking for new material to add to our stocks - we have a desiderata here but we are interested in all material that is similar to our core interests. Do get in touch.

The LP is a recording of music used as the soundtrack to Weiner's film. WITH AN ADVANCE DECLINED AT/TO. 1974. ORIGINAL ARTWORK /MAQUETTE FOR INTERFUNKTIONEN. SIGNED, DATED AND DECIATED BY WEINER TO RUDI FUCHS.

Amsterdam: Weiner, 1974 25.3 x 20.2cm, 2pp. The original artwork/maquette created by Lawrence Weiner for the important art journal Interfunctionen which was published in the 11th number of the journal. Weiner's work here has the original typed texts on blue paper tipped onto a backing sheet of rules school paper along with handwritten ink additions. The sheet has also had the top left corner of the paper cut off by Weiner (something he often did to modify paper or posters). One the top left of the sheet there is a handwritten dedication "For Rudi" (Fuchs) and signed Lawrence in black ink along with the date and place: "A'dam 1974". On the reverse Weiner has also written "published Interfunktionen 11, 1974" in black ink. The backing paper is a little browned after nearly 50 years and the glue on the back of the typed blue papers has discoloured the paper a little in places. The work has also been double punched for storage but this has avoided any of the texts. A unique and important relatively early work by the conceptual artist with the association with the Dutch conceptual art curator.

Slight wear to the dark wrappers and one slight unopened slit along the fold at the bottom of the spine but over all very good. Very scarce.
