Naples: Pari & Dispari, 1977
3.5 x 27.3cm printed outer folder content of a 4pp score consisting of rubber stampings over musical staves. Higgins had become fascinated with WIiliams’ ears over dinner and sketched them – later creating rubber stamps from the various small vignettes he had made. This musical work was then created by stamping those images on the stave lines. The pianist is thus given free rein on their musical interpretation of the work.
This is one of only 170 signed and numbered copies. VG although a slight crease top right on the folder.
