29.7 x 21cm. 2pp. Mimeograph, The first edition of this two sided leaflet which was usually distributed by insertion into the Provo magazine although others were used as street leaflets – here in a “Message to Amsterdam’s Provos” the group calls for a new strategy for those organising happenings and demonstrations. The text argues that Het Lieverdje (where many happenings took place) was now only useful for a point of gathering due to concerted police action – after all, Hans Tuynman had been recently arrested, at the scene for a minor verbal statement. The second side of the leaflet side consists of cartoons by Willem (Bernard Holtrop). This example comes indirectly from the collection of active Provo member Ubbo Voute. A little edge wear and creases otherwise VG. Scarce.
