14.5 x 11.2cm, 32pp plus original pictorial wrappers. Artist’s book with 26 lithographs by the surrealist Benayoun with a distinct flavour of 1920’s Picasso. The introduction by Peret is poetic.

This is an unnumbered dedicated copy of the book on velin creme which has a hand coloured lithograph by Benayoun which is signed with a short envoi for his surrealist colleague Mimi Parent, and dated ’60. It seems reasonable to speculate that this is one of 24 copies reserved for the “les amis de l’autho” which has somehow not been numbered.

Very slight weakness to binding but over all very good + with very strong colouring on the lithograph. Scarce thus.
