The first edition of Lewitt’s fifth book where the four versions of straight lines (horizontal, vertical, and left and right diagonals each allocated a colour from yellow, red, blue and black) are internally combined to create full sheet patterns. The first page shows in smaller form each of the combinations. This was the first stand-alone version of this book which was previously to be found in Studio International 1069. Slight browning around the margins but overall VG+. Scarce.
