30 x 21cm folder with inserted card envelope content of a 27.5 x 19cm six piece die cut fuzzy felt children’s toy which allows the owner to make a snowman image in white on green. Also inserted is a 30 x 21cm 1pp explanatory leaflet. Hume’s use of flat colour is reflected here in the use of a child’s toy which as usual belies the sophistication of the artist. The notes suggest that Hume identifies the snowman as a self-portrait. Signed on the back of the work by Hume – the edition size is not stated but was not large. This Xmas gift was issued by Momart free to clients but some later reached the commercial market.
