22 x 17cm, unpaginated (approx 86pp) – each signature being doubled and bound such that only the outer sides of the 4pp can be seen – therefore allowing the pages of the book to be flicked through at speed – showing the dynamic changes to each graphic. First edition thus – collecting the previously published books 4a and 5 – an early Roth experiment in optical art. One of 1,000 copies produced this is in VG condition with very slight lifting of the laminate from the card backing at corners of the spine else VG. With the hand applied correction adhesive labels to cover and spine – where the publisher had mistakenly identified the book as nr 3 in the series instead of the correct nr 4. Scarce.
