Texts in French and English by Harald Szeemann, Heiner Bastian and Ann Temkin with a vast number of b/w reproductions of works, installations, the artist at work, etc. There is also an extensive chronology is interspersed with short “testimonials” by a number of contributors, including Per Kirkeby, Jorg Immendorf, Nam June Paik, Caroline Tisdall, and Bernd Kluser. Some dog ears to the corners and edge wear but a scarce item much desired as the most complete Beuys’ documentation in monograph form.
