NYC: A/D. 1994
83 × 18 × 53 cm, cherry wood, electrical parts, bulb, nails. One of the elements from the NYC exhibition ‘Richard Tuttle: A lamp, a chair, a chandelier’ where large scale furniture pieces designed by Tuttle (fabricated by Tim Wells) were shown. This is one of only 19 such large lamps created – 50 were planned but most remained unmade. Very minor nicks to back edge and top else VG+.
Scarce and an unusual functional object multiple from the artist.
